TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to CoreWest. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CoreWest website, submission of service inquiries and quote requests, and certain general conditions relating to our services.

By using this website or submitting information through it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. SERVICE INQUIRIES & QUOTES

Submitting a Request a Quote form, email, text message or other inquiry does not create a service contract between you and CoreWest.

All services are subject to availability, property requirements, scope confirmation and acceptance by CoreWest.

Quotes and estimates are based on the information provided by the client and may be adjusted if the actual property condition, size, service requirements or requested scope differs materially from the information originally provided.

2. SERVICE AGREEMENTS

Certain CoreWest services may require a separate written service agreement, proposal, work order or other written authorization.

Where a separate agreement has been entered into, that agreement will govern the specific services covered by it. If there is a conflict between these website Terms & Conditions and a signed service agreement, the service agreement will govern with respect to those services.

3. PRICING

Prices displayed on the website, if any, are starting prices or general estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Final pricing may depend on factors including:

  • Property size

  • Property condition

  • Service frequency

  • Scope of work

  • Required labour

  • Required equipment or supplies

  • Parking and building-access requirements

  • Requested add-on services

  • After-hours or time-sensitive service requirements

  • Other conditions identified during quoting or service

Applicable taxes and separately identified charges may be added where required.

4. DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

CoreWest may require a deposit, pre-authorization or advance payment to secure certain bookings.

Payment requirements, due dates and accepted payment methods will be communicated before service or included in the applicable quote, invoice or service agreement.

Failure to make a required payment may result in a booking being postponed, suspended or cancelled.

5. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Clients should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling a service.

Cancellation, rescheduling, lockout or late-access charges may apply where specified in the client's quote, booking confirmation or service agreement.

6. PROPERTY ACCESS

Clients are responsible for ensuring that CoreWest has safe and authorized access to the property at the scheduled service time.

This may include arranging building access, concierge authorization, parking, keys or other agreed entry procedures.

CoreWest is not responsible for delays or inability to perform services where access has not been properly arranged.

7. SAFE WORKING CONDITIONS

CoreWest reserves the right to decline, suspend or discontinue work where conditions present an unreasonable health, safety or security risk to our team or others.

This may include undisclosed hazardous materials, unsafe construction conditions, aggressive animals, pest infestations, biohazards, unsafe utilities or other conditions requiring specialized services or precautions.

8. SCOPE OF SERVICE

CoreWest will perform the services included in the client's confirmed scope of work.

Requests for additional work may result in additional charges and may be subject to available time, staffing, equipment and authorization.

Services outside the agreed scope are not automatically included simply because they are requested while our team is on site.

9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the property and requested services.

Clients should inform CoreWest in advance of:

  • Fragile or unusually valuable items

  • Delicate or specialty surfaces

  • Known property damage

  • Areas requiring special care

  • Restricted areas

  • Pets or animals on the property

  • Building-specific procedures

  • Known hazards or unsafe conditions

  • Products or surfaces requiring manufacturer-specific cleaning instructions

10. DELICATE & SPECIALTY SURFACES

Certain materials and finishes require specialized products or procedures.

Clients are responsible for identifying specialty materials where they are known, including natural stone, specialty hardwood, custom finishes, antique surfaces or manufacturer-restricted materials.

CoreWest may decline to treat a surface where the appropriate cleaning method cannot be reasonably determined.

11. DAMAGE & SERVICE CONCERNS

Clients should report suspected damage, missing items or service concerns as soon as reasonably possible after the service is completed.

CoreWest may request photographs, property information or access to inspect the affected area before determining an appropriate response.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

12. SERVICE DOCUMENTATION & PHOTOGRAPHY

CoreWest may create limited service documentation where reasonably necessary for quality control, property-condition records, completion verification, maintenance reporting or dispute resolution.

Service documentation is not automatically authorized for public marketing use.

Our approach to client property photography and confidentiality is further described in our Client Privacy & Discretion standard.

13. CLIENT PRIVACY

Personal information provided through our website or during the course of service will be handled in accordance with the CoreWest Privacy Policy.

CoreWest maintains a separate Client Privacy & Discretion standard regarding property privacy, access information, photography and professional conduct.

14. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & LINKS

The CoreWest website may contain links to or integrations with third-party services.

CoreWest is not responsible for the availability, content, security or privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites or platforms.

17. LIMITATION OF WEBSITE LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoreWest is not responsible for losses resulting solely from reliance on general information contained on this website or from temporary website interruptions, technical errors or third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

CoreWest may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

The current version will be posted on this website with the date of the latest update.
